Cremation
with Services

Today, cremation is becoming much more common as a method of final disposition. Most families also hold memorial services, an important step in helping the bereaved overcome their grief, and offering family and friends the opportunity to honor a loved one.
Contrary to what some people believe, cremation itself increases your choices. It should not be looked on as a break with family or religious traditions, but rather as one part in a series of events that leads to memorialization.
Memorial services can take place at the funeral home or place of worship of your choice or here in the cemetery grounds at our Waterfall Columbarium Garden. Gathering together for a service acknowledges the grief of relatives and friends by helping them feel included in the grieving process.
The Funeral Director at the funeral home of your choice will guide you and will explain several methods of conducting the memorial services. Memorial items can include prayer cards, acknowledgement cards, and a register book. Memorial Pines Cemetery offers Mountain View Scattering Garden. You can scatter the ashes of your departed loved one and a bronze and granite small plaque is placed in the area stating name, date of birth and date of death
Scatter me not to restless winds,

Remember now those years gone by..
When loving gifts I gave to thee.

The family ties we shared.
Don’t leave my resting place unmarked
As though you never cared.
Deny me not one final gift
For all who come to see
A single lasting proof that says I loved
.... and you loved me.
